SOMATIC MOVEMENT

Somatic movement refers to a holistic approach to movement that emphasizes internal physical perception and experience. The movement explorations prioritize the internal sensations, awareness, and personal experience of the body in motion. This practice aims to foster a deeper connection between the mind and body, enhance body awareness, and improve physical and emotional well-being.

In my sessions, I guide groups or individuals to explore various movement patterns using Chinese Medicine anatomy as a reference, integrating different somatic methods such as Postural Yoga, Body-Mind Centering, Feldenkrais, Qigong along with my extensive experience in improvisation and Contact Improvisation.
